The axle vent assembly is on the right side of the axle carrier.

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to JACKING AND LIFTING in General Information.
  2. Remove the vent clamp bolt.

  3. Remove the hose from the axle vent tube.

  4. Remove the hose from the frame.
  5. Remove the vent assembly from the hose.
  6. Remove the vent hanger clip from the vent hose.
  7. Remove the hose clamp from the vent hose.
