Removal Procedure

1999 GMC Forward Control 5.7 R, AutomaticSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the luggage carrier side rail trim covers from the rear of the rails.

  2. Lift up the levers on the luggage carrier cross rails to unlock them from the side rails.
  3. Remove the luggage carrier cross rails from the side rails by sliding them rearward.

  4. Remove the luggage carrier side rail screws from the side rails.
  5. Remove the luggage carrier side rails from the roof.
