- Open the hood.
- Remove the electrical harness from the hood latch support bracket.
- Remove the hood latch from the hood latch support bracket. Refer to HOOD LATCH REPLACEMENT .
- Remove the four bolts from the hood latch support bracket.
- Reposition the hood latch release cable from the hood latch support bracket.
- Remove the hood latch support bracket from the upper radiator tie bar.
