Removal Procedure

1999 GMC Forward Control 5.7 R, AutomaticSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the left IP Insulator Panel. Refer to CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT -- LEFT .
  2. Remove the knee bolster panel. Refer to KNEE BOLSTER REPLACEMENT .
  3. Remove the bolts from the hood release handle base.

  4. Remove the hood release cable from the hood release handle.
  5. Remove the hood release handle from the instrument panel.
