Removal Procedure

1999 GMC Forward Control 5.7 R, AutomaticSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the left engine mount strut from the left engine mount strut bracket. Refer to ENGINE MOUNT STRUT REPLACEMENT - LEFTΒ  .
  2. Remove the thermostat housing.

  3. Remove the engine mount strut bracket bolts from the left engine mount strut bracket to the cylinder head.
  4. Remove the left engine mount strut bracket.
