- Install the valve rocker arm cover gasket into the valve rocker arm cover.
- Apply sealer GM P/N 12346141, (Canadian P/N 10953433) or the equivalent to the notches where the cylinder head and intake manifold meet.
- Install the valve rocker arm cover.
- Install the valve rocker arm cover bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the valve rocker arm cover bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
