Installation Procedure

1999 GMC Forward Control 5.7 R, AutomaticSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the electrical connector to the ignition switch.
  2. Slide the ignition switch into the ignition lock cylinder case.

  3. Push the theft deterrent module (2), onto the lock cylinder housing (1).
  4. Install the steering column trim covers. Refer to STEERING COLUMN TRIM COVERS REPLACEMENTΒ  .
  5. Enable the SIR System. Refer to DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
