Installation Procedure

1999 GMC Forward Control 5.7 R, AutomaticSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the surge tank inlet hose/pipe assembly to the vehicle.
  2. Install the 2 push nuts attaching the pipe to the engine.

  3. Connect the surge tank inlet hose to the engine.

  4. Install the PCV fresh air tube (1).

  5. Connect the surge tank inlet hose to the surge tank.

  7. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling SystemΒ .
  8. Install the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to FUEL INJECTOR SIGHT SHIELD REPLACEMENT
