Installation Procedure

1999 GMC Forward Control 5.7 R, AutomaticSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Align the threaded hole in the engine block with the hole labeled "R" (1) on the right engine coolant heater.

  2. Install the right engine coolant heater.
    CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  3. Install the engine coolant heater bolt.

    TightenΒ 

    Tighten the engine coolant heater bolt to 10 N.m (89 in lbs).

  4. Connect the electrical connector to the engine coolant heater.

  6. Lower the vehicle.
