  1. Install the bulb (4) to the socket.
  2. Push in on the bulb (4) and turn 1/4 turn clockwise.
  3. Install the bulb (4) and socket into the rubber grommet in the headlamp capsule (1).
  4. Install the headlamp capsule (1) to the headlamp housing.
  5. Install the retaining ring to the headlamp housing assembly.
    CAUTION: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners to avoid damage to parts and systems.
  6. Install the screws holding the retaining ring to the headlamp housing assembly.

    TightenΒ 

    Tighten the screws to 1.5 N.m (13 in lbs).
