- Raise and suitably support the vehicle.
- Suitably support the exhaust system.
- Remove the catalytic converter. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement (3.1 L) or Catalytic Converter Replacement (3.8L)
- Remove the oxygen sensor wiring harness (3) from the catalytic converter heat shield.
- Remove the catalytic converter heat shield pop rivets.
- Remove the catalytic converter heat shield.
