Valve Rocker Arm and Push Rod Installation

Tools Required:Β J 36660-AΒ Torque Angle Meter
- Install the pushrod guide plate.
- Install the push rods.
- Install the valve rocker arm bearing retainer.
- Coat the valve stem tip and pushrod tip with prelube GM P/N United States 1052367, GM P/N Canada 992869 or the equivalent.
- Install the valve rocker arms.
- Apply GM P/N United States 12345493, GM P/N Canada 10953488 threadlocker or the equivalent to the valve rocker arm bolt threads.
- Install the valve rocker arm bolts.
Tighten:Β
Tighten the valve rocker arm bolts to 15 N.m (11 lb ft) + 90 degrees using J 36660-AΒ
