Surge Tank: Installation

- Connect coolant level switch to engine harness.
- Install return hose and clamp (7 o'clock position).
- Install surge tank by inserting surge tank retention tab into upper motor rail while lowering tank into place. Install tank to upper motor rail bolts.
- Install cylinder head degas hose and clamp.
- Connect negative battery cable.
Torque:
Battry Terminal Bolt: 17 N.m (13 ft-lbs)
- Fill cooling system. (Refer to "Coolant Replacement" in this section of the service manual.)
