Fuel Pump Relay
When ignition switch is turned to the RUN position, PCM will turn on electric fuel pump by energizing the fuel pump relay. PCM will keep relay energized if engine is running or cranking (PCM is receiving reference pulses from ignition control module). If no reference pulses exist, PCM turns pump off within 2 seconds after key on.

When to See a Mechanic
