When ignition switch is turned to the RUN position, PCM will turn on the electric fuel pump by energizing the fuel pump relay, located in the underhood fuse/relay block. PCM will keep relay energized if engine is running or cranking (PCM is receiving reference pulses from the ICM). If no reference pulses exist, PCM turns pump off within 2 seconds after key on.
