Secondary Air Injection Pump Intermediate Pipe/Hose: Installation
- Reconnect the EGR pipe. Tighten the EGR pipe to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONSΒ . Install the nuts securing the bank 1 intermediate pipe/hose to the AIR shut-off valve bracket and the transaxle. Tighten the nuts to specification.
- Install the hose and pinch clamp connecting the bank 1 intermediate pipe/hose to the AIR shut-off valve. Install the hose and pinch clamp connecting the bank 1 intermediate pipe/hose to the AIR crossover pipe/hose.
Install the bank 2 intermediate pipe/hose. Install the pinch clamp connecting the bank 2 intermediate pipe/hose to the bank 2 shut-off valve. Raise and support the vehicle. Install the bank 2 intermediate pipe/hose and clamp to the AIR pump. Lower the vehicle.
