Compass/Temperature Mode
This mode displays an 8 point compass heading on left hand side of DIC. Compass will display current vehicle direction relative to one of 8 compass headings using N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W, and NW for readout. Ambient temperature displays on right hand side of DIC. If ambient temperature is below 37°F (3°C), temperature reading will toggle between displaying outside temperature and word ICE for two minutes. If temperature is less than minus 40°F (4°C) for more than 2 seconds, OC will display. If temperature is above 140°F (60°C) for more than 2 seconds, SC will be displayed. If OC or SC is displayed, DTC's will be set.

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:
- • You smell fuel, burning insulation, or see smoke.
- • Brakes feel soft, pull hard to one side, or make grinding noises.
- • The engine overheats, stalls repeatedly, or misfires under load.
- • You are missing required tools, torque specs, or safe lifting equipment.
- • You are not confident in the next step or safety outcome.
