A/C Refrigerant Pressure Sensor (2.2L VIN 5) On A/C evaporator tube.
Air Temperature Sensor Assembly (Inside) (W/Auto A/C) In roof area, over driver's side door.
Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Front center of vehicle, behind fascia.
Ambient Light Sensor On top left side of dash.
Automatic Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor Integral to transmission fluid pressure manual valve position switch.
Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor (2.2L VIN 5) On right side of engine, forward of coil packs. See Figure.
Camshaft Position Sensor (4.3L VIN W) Rear of distributor.
Compass Sensor (W/Long Console) Integral to driver information center.
Compass Sensor (W/Short Console) In headliner, right of overhead console.
Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor (2.2L VIN 5) On lower right side of engine. See Figure.
Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor (4.3L VIN W) On front of engine, near crankshaft pulley. See Figure.
Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (2.2L VIN 5) In coolant piping, on front of engine. See Figure.
Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor (4.3L VIN W) In left cylinder head, between two rear spark plugs. See Figure.
Engine Oil Pressure Sensor (2.2L VIN 5) On right side of engine, forward of coil pack. See Figure.
Engine Oil Pressure (EOP) Sensor (4.3L VIN W) On top rear of engine, near distributor. See Figure.
Fuel Pump & Sender Assembly On top of fuel tank.
Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor On top of fuel tank.
Headlamp Ambient Light Sensor On top left side of dash.
Heated Oxygen Sensor (Bank 1 Sensor 1) (4.3L VIN W) In left exhaust pipe, in front of catalytic converter.
Heated Oxygen Sensor (Bank 1 Sensor 2) (2.2L VIN 5) In exhaust system, after catalytic converter.
Heated Oxygen Sensor (Bank 2 Sensor 1) (4.3L VIN W) In right exhaust pipe, in front of catalytic converter.
Heated Oxygen Sensor (Bank 1 Sensor 2) (4.3L VIN W) In exhaust system, after catalytic converter.
Inflatable Restraint Front End Discriminating Sensor (Left) On left side of front frame crossmember.
Inflatable Restraint Front End Discriminating Sensor (Right) On right side of front frame crossmember.
Intake Air Temperature Sensor Left front of engine compartment, in fresh air intake duct.
Knock Sensor (KS) (2.2L VIN 5) On lower right side of engine. See Figure.
Knock Sensor (KS) (4.3L VIN W) On top rear of engine. See Figure.
Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor (2.2L VIN 5) On intake manifold. See Figure.

Oxygen Sensor (Bank 1 Sensor 1) (2.2L VIN 5) In exhaust manifold crossover pipe.
Passlock Sensor At ignition switch.
Propshaft Speed Sensor (Front) Top left rear of transfer case.
Propshaft Speed Sensor (Rear) Top right rear of transfer case, near rear propshaft.
Throttle Position Sensor (2.2L VIN 5) On throttle body assembly. See Figure.
Throttle Position (TP) Sensor (4.3L VIN W) On throttle body assembly. See Figure.
Vehicle Speed Sensor (2.2L VIN 5) (A/T) On right rear of automatic transmission.
Vehicle Speed Sensor (2.2L VIN 5) (M/T) On left rear of manual transmission.
Vehicle Speed Sensor (4.3L VIN W) (A/T) On right rear of automatic transmission or transfer case.
Vehicle Speed Sensor (4.3L VIN W) (M/T) On left rear of manual transmission.
