Low Coolant Indicator Lights With Normal Coolant Level (Diesel)

1999 GMC Forward Control 4.3 W, StandardSECTION Low Coolant Indicator Lights With Normal Coolant Level (Diesel)
  1. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Disconnect low coolant level indicator module harness connector. Connect a non-powered test light between ground and coolant level module harness connector Black/White wire terminal. If test light lights, go to next step. If test light does not light, repair open in Black/White wire.
  2. Connect a non-powered test light between ground and coolant level module harness connector Light Green wire terminal. If test light lights, replace low coolant level sensor. If test light does not light, go to next step.
  3. Connect a fused jumper wire between coolant level module harness connector Light Green wire terminal and battery power. Connect a non-powered test light between ground and coolant level module harness connector Light Green wire terminal. If test light lights, replace low coolant level sensor. If test light does not light, repair open in Light Green wire.
