1995 GMC Suburban K2500, 7.4 NSECTION Removal & Installation

Some PCM's use a CALPAK as well as a PROM. See Fig 1. The CAL PAK must also be removed from old PCM and installed in new one. Removal and replacement procedures for CALPAK are same as for PROM. See PROGRAMMABLE READ-ONLY MEMORY (PROM). If CALPAK is installed improperly, grounding DLC diagnostic test terminal will cause DTC 52 to set.
