- Turn ignition switch and speed (cruise) control switch to ON position. Using a voltmeter, connect negative lead to a good chassis ground. Disconnect speed control servo 4-pin connector. Measure voltage at servo connector terminal No. 2 (Dark Blue/Red). If battery voltage is not present, check for loose connections, check brake switch adjustment, or repair circuit as necessary.
- If battery voltage is present, connect a jumper wire between servo connector terminal No. 2 (Dark Blue/Red wire) and speed control servo terminal No. 2. Battery voltage should be present at servo's 3 remaining terminals. If battery voltage is not present, replace servo.
- If battery voltage is present, turn ignition off. Connect one lead of ohmmeter to good chassis ground. Using other lead, probe servo connector terminal No. 1 (Black wire). If no continuity exists, repair open in Black wire (ground circuit). If continuity exists, test is complete.
