Liftgate Lock Actuator: Removal

1992 GMC Safari Van Cargo, 4.3 WSECTION Removal
NOTE: Numbers in parenthesis correspond to numbers in illustrations.
  1. Remove negative battery cable.
  2. Remove liftgate interior molding.
  3. Remove control rods right side (248) and left side (249) from the actuator (251) lever rod. See Figure .
  4. Remove actuator to liftgate rivets.
  5. Remove actuator (251) from the liftgate. See Figure .
