Vent/Window Run Channel Assembly: Removal

1992 GMC Rally G1500, 4.3 ZSECTION Removal
  1. Lower the window.
  2. Remove the trim panel. See TRIM PANELΒ  .
  3. Remove run channel molding (224). See Figure . Pull the molding out of the vent assembly only.
  4. Remove the door panel to run channel bolt (228). See Figure .
  5. Remove the door to ventilator screws. See Figure .
  6. Remove door vent/window run channel assembly (229) to the vehicle. See Figure . Pull the top of the vent away from the door frame. Lift and rotate the assembly out of the door.
