1992 GMC Rally G1500, 4.3 ZSECTION Servo Assembly

Servo assembly consists of a vacuum diaphragm that actuates the throttle lever and 2 vacuum control solenoids (vacuum solenoid and vent solenoid). See Fig 1 . Vacuum and vent solenoids, responding to commands from cruise control module, regulate vacuum supply to diaphragm. Engine manifold vacuum (or vacuum pump on vehicles with diesel engine) provides vacuum source for diaphragm.
