Slave Cylinder: Installation

1992 GMC Jimmy Base, 2D Utility, 4.3 Z, RWD, StandardSECTION Installation

To install, reverse removal procedure. On commercial van, DO NOTΒ  remove plastic push rod retainer from slave cylinder. Retainer straps will break when clutch pedal is depressed. Tighten nuts to specifications. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONSΒ  table. Bleed hydraulic system. See BLEEDING HYDRAULIC CLUTCH SYSTEMΒ  under IN-VEHICLE SERVICE.
