1992 GMC Forward Control 5.7 K, AutomaticSECTION Removal (3.8L)
  1. Relieve fuel pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELIEF (TBI) under FUEL SYSTEM (GASOLINE). Disconnect negative battery terminal. Drain coolant from radiator. Remove air induction tube, throttle and cruise control cables.
  2. Disconnect electrical harness connector from IAC, TPS and MAF sensor. Remove throttle body mounting bolts. Remove throttle body assembly.
