Diagnostic Tests

1986 GMC Value Van P2500, 7.4 W, StandardSECTION Diagnostic Tests
CAUTION: Perform all resistance and voltage tests with a Digital Volt-ohmmeter (DVOM) with minimum 10-megohm impedance, unless stated otherwise in test procedures. Ensure ignition switch is in OFF position when performing resistance tests.

Use the following test charts to diagnose the TCC electrical system. Make sure to use appropriate test charts. Using wrong test charts will result in TCC misdiagnosis. Some test steps will refer you to corresponding vehicle speed sensor (Code 24) and park/neutral switch test charts.
