  1. With rubber band attached to tang of intermediate choke shaft, open throttle and allow choke valve to close. Install choke valve gauge and set to specification. See CHOKE VALVE GAUGE.
  2. Plug diaphragm air bleed hole. See VACUUM DIAPHRAGMS. Using a hand-held vacuum pump, seat primary vacuum break diaphragm. Bucking spring, if used, must be seated against lever. See Fig 1.
  3. To adjust, turn vacuum break adjustment screw until bubble of choke valve gauge is centered. Remove gauge.
