- With rubber band attached to tang of intermediate choke shaft, open throttle and allow choke valve to close. Install choke valve gauge and set to specification. See CHOKE VALVE GAUGE.
- Plug diaphragm air bleed hole. See VACUUM DIAPHRAGMS. Using a hand-held vacuum pump, seat primary vacuum break diaphragm. Bucking spring, if used, must be seated against lever. See Fig 1.
- To adjust, turn vacuum break adjustment screw until bubble of choke valve gauge is centered. Remove gauge.
