- Ensure solenoid assembly and oil filter are removed before oil pump removal. Remove oil pump retaining bolts. Using Oil Pump Remover (J-37789-A) and Adapter (J-39119), pull pump assembly free from case.
- Remove oil pump seal and gasket. Remove reverse input clutch-to-pump thrust washer from pump. Remove reverse and input clutch assembly by lifting out along with turbine shaft.
