- Engine idle speed must be correctly adjusted. Hold choke valve wide open and make sure fast idle cam follower is off fast idle cam steps. SeeΒ Fig 1.
- Make sure secondary closing lever is against tang. Measure specified clearance between secondary throttle link and slot in secondary throttle lever.
- Specified clearance is 0.020". To adjust bend tang.
