Pinpoint Test I: Abs (Anti-Lock Brake System) Module Communication Concern With The CCM (Cruise Control Module)
- Refer to Horn/Cigar Lighter
for schematic and connector information.
Normal Operation and Fault ConditionsÂ
The CCM is an internal component of the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) module.
The Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) module receives information from the forward looking radar module along a private CAN. The Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) module sends messages to the ABS module over the FD-CAN. If the ABS module does not receive these messages within the allotted time frame or if the messages contain invalid data, the module sets a DTC. This can be due to a Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) module failure, a circuit failure on the network or an excessive load on the network. For information on the messages sent to the ABS module by the CCM and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) module, REFER to: Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) and Stability Control - System Operation and Component Description .
DTC Fault Trigger ConditionsÂ
DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition ABS U2107:00 Collision Mitigation By Braking: No Sub Type Information This DTC sets when the collision deceleration message from the is sent too often or the duration of the message is too long. Possible SourcesÂ
- Network communication concern
- CCM - part of the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) module
- I1 CHECK COLLISION AVOIDANCE SYSTEM
- Ignition ON.
- Clear the ABS module DTC's.
- Ignition OFF.
- Ignition ON.
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, retrieve all DTCs from the ABS module. NOTE: DTC's may be displayed from previous diagnostic actions.
- NOTE: This DTC does not indicate a fault with the ABS system and its associated components.
Did the DTC's return?Â
Yes Check the CAN connections and wiring to the ABS module. Check the CAN connections and wiring to the cruise control module. Check the CAN connections and wiring to the front distance sensing module. Check all generator, battery and power distribution connections for tightness, corrosion, loose or bent terminals. Check the body control module for DTCs. Check the cruise control module for DTCs. No The concern is no longer present. Return the vehicle to the customer.

- • The engine overheats, stalls repeatedly, or misfires under load.
- • You are missing required tools, torque specs, or safe lifting equipment.
- • You are not confident in the next step or safety outcome.
