Image Processing Module B (IPMB): Installation
All vehicles
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE: This step is only necessary when installing a new component.
Using a diagnostic scan tool, complete the PMI process for the IPMB following the on-screen instructions.
Vehicles equipped with front and rear only parking aid camera
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, following the on screen instructions for the LIN New Module Initialization-BCM configure the BCM.
Vehicles equipped with 360 deg. cameras only.
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, following the on screen instructions for the LIN New Module Initialization-IPMB configure the IPMB.
- Align the 360 deg. cameras. Refer to: 360 Degree View Camera Alignment .
Vehicles equipped with 360 deg. camera and Trailer Reverse Guidance
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, following the on screen instructions for the LIN New Module Initialization-IPMB configure the IPMB.
- Align the 360 deg. cameras. Refer to: 360 Degree View Camera Alignment .

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:
