SET the ignition to ON. Using the convertible top switch, OPEN or CLOSE the convertible top.
If the convertible top does not operate, INSTALL a new Moveable Roof Control Module B (MRCMB) / Convertible Top Motor 2. REFER to: Convertible Top Motor .
U2011:98 Motor: Component or System Over Temperature WAIT a minimum of 2 minutes to allow the motor time to cool.
Using a diagnostic scan tool, CLEAR the DTC.
SET the ignition to ON. Using the convertible top switch, OPEN or CLOSE the convertible top.

If the DTC returns, the system has not had sufficient time to cool. SET the ignition to OFF and WAIT another 2 minutes, CLEAR the DTC and REPEAT the self-test.
