DTC Trigger

2022 Ford Escape S, 4WDSECTION DTC Trigger

These DTCs set when the PSCM has detected a failure in the motor position sensor, the motor current sensor or the CAN. These DTCs do not set a warning indicator or a message, they are for informational purposes only and indicate a possible fault in the hardware. If the fault sets again, the PSCM sets the appropriate DTC and warning indicator.
