To properly diagnose compressor displacement valve operation on vehicles equipped with the Externally Controlled Variable Displacement Compressor, the EVDC100 A/C Compressor Electronic Control Valve Tester compressor tool must be used, and the results recorded in the Technician comments field when filing the warranty claim. Follow the instructions in the user manual supplied with the tester.
