Rear Door Alignment: Adjustment
All alignments
- Remove the pin type retainers and the rear step trim panel.
- Remove the bolts and the rear door lower striker assembly.
Torque
: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
Left rear cargo door in and out, up and down alignment
- Loosen the bolts enough to permit movement of the door.
Torque
: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
- Adjust the door to specification. Refer to: BODY AND FRAME
.
Left rear cargo door left, right and tilt alignment
- Remove the striker trim.
- Remove the bolts and the striker assembly.
Torque
: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
- Remove the D pillar trim panel. Refer to: D-Pillar Trim Panel .

- Loosen the inner nuts enough to permit movement of the door.
Torque
: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
- Loosen the nuts enough to permit movement of the door.
Torque
: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)
- Loosen the bolts enough to permit movement of the door.
Torque
: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
- Loosen the inner nuts enough to permit movement of the door.
- Adjust door to specification. Refer to: BODY AND FRAME
.
Right rear cargo door in and out, up and down alignment

NOTE: The left cargo door must be aligned correctly to ensure the correct alignment of the right cargo door.
Loosen the bolts enough to permit movement of the door.
Torque
: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
- Adjust the door to specification. Refer to: BODY AND FRAME
.
Right rear cargo door left, right and tilt alignment

NOTE: The left cargo door must be aligned correctly to ensure the correct alignment of the right cargo door.
Remove the striker trim.
- Remove the bolts and the striker assembly.
Torque
: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
- Remove the D pillar trim panel. Refer to: D-Pillar Trim Panel .

- Loosen the nuts enough to permit movement of the door.
Torque
: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)
- Loosen the bolts enough to permit movement of the door.
Torque
: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
- Loosen the inner nuts enough to permit movement of the door.
Torque
: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
- Loosen the nuts enough to permit movement of the door.
- Adjust the door to specification. Refer to: BODY AND FRAME
.
All alignments
- Check the body to rear door dimensions. Refer to: BODY AND FRAME .
- Install the removed components.
