Front Door Alignment - SuperCab: Adjustment

2021 Ford Transit-350 HD Base, Van Cargo Extended, 3.5L Eng VIN 8, AWDSECTION Adjustment

All alignments 

  1. Open the door.

  2. Remove the bolts and the striker assembly.

    Front door in and out, up and down alignment 

  3. Open the door.

  4. Loosen the bolts enough to permit movement of the door.

  5. Adjust the door as required.

  6. Tighten the bolts.

    Torque

    : 41 lb.ft (55 Nm)

    Front door fore, aft and tilt alignment 

  7. Open the door.

  8. Loosen the bolts enough to permit movement of the door.

  9. Carefully close the door.

  10. Adjust the door as required.

  12. NOTE: Calculate the correct torque wrench setting for the following torque. Refer to the Torque Wrench Adapter Formulas in the Appendix, see illustration below.

    Tighten the bolts.

    Torque

    : 24 lb.ft (32 Nm)

  13. Install the bolts and the striker assembly.

    Torque

    : 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)

  14. Inspect the body-to-front door dimensions.
