DTC Fault Trigger Conditions
DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition IPMA U3000:98 Control Module: Component Or System Over Temperature An on-demand and continuous memory DTC Sets in IPMA when the IPMA module detects the are over-temperature. Possible Sources
- IPMA module
- BF1 CLEAR THE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)
- Remove the vehicle from direct sunlight and allow the interior of the vehicle to cool.
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, clear the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).
- Wait 10 seconds.
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, perform the IPMA module self-test.
Is DTC U3000:98 still present?
Yes INSTALL a new IPMA module. REFER to: Image Processing Module A (IPMA) . No TEST the system for normal operation.
