DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition
PCM P0601:00 Internal Control Module Memory Checksum Error: No Sub Type Information Sets when the PCM detects the central processor unit internal check returns an incorrect value.
PCM P062F:00 Internal Control Module EEPROM Error: No Sub Type Information Sets when the PCM detects the ROM is corrupt.

  • PCM power relay
  • PCM calibration
  • PCM (12A650)

Visual Inspection and Pre-checks 

  • Reprogram or update the calibration. Reprogram the vehicle identification vehicle identification block. Check for other Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) or drive symptoms for further action. Make sure to check for aftermarket performance products before installing a new PCM. If it is necessary to install a new PCM, refer to Powertrain Control Module (PCM)  .
