| 09 | This DTC sets if the SASM has an internal failure. CARRY OUT the SASM Module Reset function. CYCLE the ignition from ON to OFF and back to ON. DRIVE the vehicle and carry out at least 1 right turn and 1 left turn. CARRY OUT the SASM self-test. If the DTC does not return, the repair is complete. If the DTC returns, INSTALL a new SASM - clockspring assembly. REFER to the appropriate Removal and Installation procedure in the Supplemental Restraint System article. |
| 29 | This DTC sets if the information received from the SASM does not agree with other inputs. CARRY OUT the Adaptive Steering Wheel Angle Sensor Trim function. CYCLE the ignition from ON to OFF and back to ON. DRIVE the vehicle and CARRY OUT at least 1 right turn and 1 left turn. CARRY OUT the SCCM self-test. If the DTC does not return, the repair is complete. If the DTC returns, INSTALL a new SASM - clockspring assembly. REFER to the appropriate Removal and Installation procedure in the Supplemental Restraint System article. |
