- Prime the oil pump. Add 2 tablespoons of oil to the square oil pump hole and rotate the oil pump by hand.
Material: Motorcraft® SAE 10W-30 Super Duty Diesel Motor Oil / XO-10W30-QSDF (WSS-M2C171-F1)
- Position the crankshaft drive flats level to aid in installing the engine front cover.
- Install the engine front cover gaskets.

NOTE: Failure to properly align the engine front cover to the oil pan rail may result in engine damage.
