Transfer Case Front Output Shaft Seal: Removal

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
  2. Remove the front driveshaft. Refer to: Front Driveshaft .
  3. If equipped. Remove the skid plate bolts and the skid plate.

  4. Remove the front output shaft seal dust cover.

  5. Remove and discard the front output shaft seal.
