Transfer Case Control Module (TCCM): Removal

  1. Using the diagnostic scan tool, begin the PMI process for the TCCM following on-screen instructions.
  2. Remove the CJB cover.

  3. Remove and disconnect the electrical connectors the lower access panel.

  4. NOTE: The TCCM has slotted mounting holes. It is not necessary to remove the LHTCCM nut when removing the TCCM.

    Loosen the LHTCCM nut and remove the RHTCCM nut.

    Torque: 35 lb.in (4 Nm)

  5. Disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the TCCM.
