Fuel Pump Driver Module (FPDM): Removal

All vehicles 

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .

    Pickup 

    NOTE: The fuel pump driver module (FPDM) is attached to the top of the frame rear crossmember.
  2. Disconnect the fuel pump driver module (FPDM) electrical connector.

  3. Remove the fuel pump driver module (FPDM) retainers and then remove the fuel pump driver module (FPDM).

    Chassis Cab 

    NOTE: The fuel pump driver module (FPDM) is attached to the front of the frame rear crossmember.
  4. Disconnect the fuel pump driver module (FPDM) electrical connector.

  5. Remove the fuel pump driver module (FPDM) retainers and then remove the fuel pump driver module (FPDM).
