DTC DESCRIPTION P062D - FUEL INJECTOR DRIVER CIRCUIT PERFORMANCE (BANK 1)

Description:  The PCM continuously monitors the operation of the fuel injectors and corresponding circuits for cylinders 1, 2 and 3 (F-150), 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 (Transit) and 1, 4, 6 and 7 (all others). This DTC sets when a short to ground or short to voltage condition for those cylinders is detected.

  • INJ2 circuit short to ground (F-150 and Transit)

  • INJ2RTN circuit short to voltage (F-150 and Transit)
  • INJ3 circuit short to ground (F-150 and Transit)
  • INJ3RTN circuit short to ground (F-150 and Transit)

Diagnostic Aids:  Monitor the INJ_F PID to determine which cylinder number has an injector or injector circuit concern.
