DTC DESCRIPTION P0111 - INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR CIRCUIT RANGE/PERFORMANCE (BANK 1)

Description:  This DTC sets when the IAT11 PID does not correlate with the AAT, CAC_T, ECT2 or the EGRTC PIDs at ignition ON after an 8 hour soak period has been completed.
Possible Causes: 
  • Slow responding sensor
  • Damaged mass airflow/intake air temperature (MAF/IAT) sensor
Diagnostic Aids:  Make sure the IAT reading and the other temperature sensor readings are similar when the engine is cold.
Application  Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory 
F-Series Super Duty GO to PINPOINT TEST J .
All others GO to PINPOINT TEST F .
