Normal Operation and Fault Conditions

BCM DTC Fault Trigger Conditions 

DTC Description Fault Trigger Conditions
B130F:12 Run Accessory Control: Circuit Short To Battery Sets when the BCM detects a short to voltage from the wiper relay control circuit.
B130F:14 Run Accessory Control: Circuit Short To Ground or Open Sets when the BCM detects an open from the wiper relay control circuit.

SCCM DTC Fault Trigger Conditions 

DTC Description Fault Trigger Conditions
B1131:02 Wiper motor module: General Signal Failure Sets when the input to the windshield wiper motor from the fail-safe circuit does not match the requested input from the SCCM.

Possible Causes 

  • Fuse
  • Wiring, terminals or connectors
  • Wiper/washer switch
  • BJB relay module
  • Windshield wiper motor
  • SCCM
  • BCM

Visual Inspection and Diagnostic Pre-checks 

  • Inspect the BJB fuse 77 (30A) and make sure it is OK.
