Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Module: Installation

  1. NOTE: Make sure that the ABS module is aligned correctly before installing the module screws or damage to the ABS module or EBB may occur.

    To install, reverse the removal procedure.

  2. Using a diagnostic scan tool, complete the PMI process for the ABS module following the on-screen instructions.
  3. Carry out the ABS Calibration service function using the scan tool and following the diagnostic scan tool on-screen instructions.
  4. Run the PCMPATS programming application and then carry out the Module Initialization (Parameter Reset) using the scan tool and following the scan tool on-screen instructions.
