Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

With the ignition ON, the BCM sends messages to the GWM over the HS-CAN1, the GWM relays these messages to the ABS module over the FD-CAN. If the ABS module does not receive these messages within a certain time frame, the module sets Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). DTC Fault Trigger Conditions 

DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition
ABS U0140:00 Lost Communication With Body Control Module: No Sub Type Information Sets when the ABS module does not receive any messages from the BCM.
ABS U0422:00 Invalid Data Received From Body Control Module: No Sub Type Information This DTC sets if the ignition signal status message is invalid for 5 seconds.
