- AB1 RECHECK THE SASM DTC
- Ignition OFF.
- Allow the SASM to remain off and cool down for at least 5 minutes.
- Ignition ON.
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, carry out the SASM self-test.
Is DTC U3000:96 present and active in the SASM?
Yes INSTALL a new SASM-clockspring assembly. REFER to: Clockspring - Vehicles With: Adaptive Steering . No The concern causing the DTC is not present at this time.
